Description

The ‘Hypoallergenic Diet’ was made with the sensitive dog in mind that tends to react to everything. Most sensitive dogs do very well on this recipe as it is very easy to digest, contains no chicken or beef, and is designed for all stages of life!

This recipe includes whole rabbit along with lamb liver, lamb lungs, carrot, cauliflower, kale, seasonal fruit, and our signature sea vegetables for added micronutrients and antioxidants.

Rabbit is extremely lean, not very high in taurine, or B-vitamins, which is why we add lamb organ meat.

This is a balanced meal, complete with lamb organ meats and lamb tripe, so that there is no cross contamination with other proteins, which makes this a very suitable recipe for sensitive pets that can’t have both chicken and beef.

Lamb liver has substantially more nutrition such as B-vitamins, much more than white meat liver (such as chicken or turkey), and is an excellent source of heme iron, vitamin A and selenium.

Grass fed Lamb tripe is chalk full of amino acids, enzymes, pre and probiotics, which contributes to a healthy microbiome.

This recipe also has vegetables for extra fiber, vitamins and minerals, and our sea vegetable bled for antioxidants and vitamins and minerals.

The sea vegetables powder that is added to this formula is so much more than just kelp, which is predominantly used in the pet food market, as it is a more superior source of greens and antioxidants.

This recipe is one of the top sellers at Karnevore Mountain.

How to use

Individually vacuum sealed into 1 lb flash frozen bags. There are several factors that could impact your pet's feeding needs. Age, energy levels, size, breed will all be different. The following is a general guide to help you start your feeding program. Please adjust accordingly based on your adult dog or puppy’s behaviour (ie. begging for table scraps as a new negative behaviour, excessive drooling, weight gain/loss). Puppies will require weekly and sometimes daily dietary change. In general, you should feed your furry friend 2-3% of their ideal weight for their breed and age. As a general rule of thumb, please use the information below as a guidance. Puppies (up to 6 months) 0.5 lb/meal twice daily. Adult dogs (30 - 50 lbs 7 months or older): 1.5 lbs/meal once daily. Adult dogs (60 – 80 lbs): 2 lbs/meal once daily. Adult dogs (80 – 100 lbs): 2.5 lbs/meal once daily.
